Bankrupt, bankrupt la...

Posted by Simon Templar On Saturday, May 29, 2010

BN is on a mission to spread a certain propaganda on bankruptcy. Ummm... actually it's UMNO - MCA and MIC are powerless as they themselves claim. So, I correct myself. UMNO is on a mission to spread a certain propaganda on bankruptcy. And they are as always, on another mission to scare the shit out of us.

I say "kasi bankrap sajalah".

We all pay taxes; rich or poor. Most people have a simplified mindset that tax means the payment you made out of your monthly gaji and post submission of Borang B/BE. And most also know that corporates pay tax. But what about the 5% government tax you pay at McDonald's and Pizza Hut. What about the duties you paid for your Perodua Viva and Proton Persona? Or what about the hidden taxes paid by the manufacturers who passed the costs onwards to you thus causing you to be paying a higher amount for your goods and services - these are indirect and unseen by you. But you still pay the taxes. So everyone pays taxes. Yes, even you who earn below RM2,500 and do not qualify for the IRB's PCB. Even you who sell karipap at the roadside.

Now these taxes that WE ALL PAID, is meant to improve our lives as citizens of this country. Call it subsidy or call it whatever you want. As long as the money is spent to enhance the livelihood of the citizens of Malaysia, then it is money well spent. If our money is used to reduce the prices we pay for petrol then so be it.

I am not a believer that the rich must be made to pay for everything is the country. It is true that there must be a balance on the elementary notion that the rich must help out the less fortunate. No arguments about that. But to pass on everything to the wealthier ones is also not right. They are citizens too. Anyway, this is way too complicated for many of you (as I have already learnt from experience).

The bottom line is as long as our tax money is wisely spent on the people than it is well spent.

But if our money is used to enhance the wealth of those who are supposed to be guardians of our money, then fuck already la. This country is corrupted to the core. And because the fucking government is corrupted and cheat and steal our hard earn money, they are now trying to scare us into believing that "giving back to us" will cause the country to go bankrupt. Duh? So, we continue to pay you taxes to keep your personal bank accounts getting fatter is it? Soh hai government!

I would rather see this country going bankrupt than to fall for your propaganda to let you keep "your share of the pie" at the expense of cheaper products for us. Hello, you ministers are already on a fixed salary and various allowances. Taking our money is not a given perk or benefit!

We've made the biggest mistake of the nation's history when Tun M propagated the intended intervention of IMF as "going back to being colonialised". That's bullshit la. South Korea today has never been better. Indonesia is way more democratic than we are and they managed to get Suharto and goons out.

Malaysia on the other hand has been climbing the rankings of the world's most corrupted nation. Our economy is failing. Foreign investors are running away to the likes of Indonesia and Vietnam. Elections continue to be rigged. UMNO gets stronger and richer.

Sometimes, to salvage a country, you have to really go all the way down. Down so bad that a forced reform is the only way out. We are at the end of our wits to get UMNO out of office. And it is getting more difficult by the looks of things. We need to fuck the economy up so badly that UMNO no longer wants it.

So bankrupt the country la. As long as UMNO is in power, they will never stop taking our money. The more taxes we give them, the more money they take. They are not interested in our welfare. These wankers don't live the kind of life we live. They have no idea how difficult things are for us trying to put rice and bread on the table. Rosmah will not even look at roti kaya from the coffee shop. I suspect she lives on half a cow every morning. (Scientifically, that is the only explanation on how she maintains her size).

Yes, kasi bankrupt ini negara. Personally, I can live with that. When there is nothing left, UMNO will wash their hands of her. IMF or Anwar or not, without UMNO reforms will take place. We RAKYAT MALAYSIA still have our hands and legs. And with some brains and plenty of hardwork we can rebuild this nation. We are close to the equator; the weather will always allow us the opportunity to tap on the flora and fauna. We are surrounded by water. The maritime industry will always be there for us. And we have oil. Believe you me, we still have much out there. Just hope that UMNO never finds them.

If we need to rebuild the country, then so be it. Singapore was an island of nothing when they were kicked out of Malaysia. Look at them today. If that little island can do it with sheer hardwork, brains and dedication, so can we. As long as we can find a way to end big time corruption in this country, we can move forward.

So, say TAK NAK to ending subsidies. It came from our money and there is nothing wrong on spending our money on ourselves.

Meanwhile you UMNO wankers, go sweat and shed some blood to earn your own money.

me myself also pay taxes, if you smart enough and have a big head like ur big mouth, go a head be the prime minister. u all kind of people likes malaysia to be fall apart and chaos. stupid and selfish.. i hope u all burn to hell....

  2. Anonymous Said,

If bankruptcy can stop these people from their greed, good. I afraid not. Even with bankruptcy, these people would continue to find ways to squeeze the rakyat. As long as the power is in their hand they would find ways to abuse it. They can even take the opportunity to justify and implement all kind of crazy policies, like turning the country into some kind of military state. I pity the people who voted for them. What they received in return is one bad news after another. I say before the ship sink, kick them out. There are already too many holes need to be patched. Time to start work together repairing the ship.

  10. kl Said,

Great point of view man, yeah if worst comes to worst - let it go bust, and from the ashes, maybe something substantial and good can come out.

  11. Anonymous Said,

Exactly my thoughts! Let Malaysia be bankrupt and seek IMF or foreign countries for financial loan assistance. Sure, the rakyat will have to work harder to pay off the foreign debt with interest, but think of THE OTHER POSITIVE EFFECTS in the process such as..

    1. All the dubious NEP/NEM policies (30% bumiputra participation, APs, etc) that benefit only the political cronies and elites (and not benefiting the common RAKYAT at large) will definitely be abolished once and for all.

    2. There will be MORE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY with the movement of our country's financial fund and MORE RESTRICTION to prevent the FEDERAL government from siphoning the RAKYAT'S money out to line their own pockets with useless projects of high inflated cost because EVERY PROPOSED PROJECT with money going out WILL NEED TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR by the loan givers.

    3. All monopolized businesses will come to an abrupt end. More foreign companies are encouraged to set up their business operations in our country in order to boost up our flagging economy. With more competition from other, companies like Astro, Telekom, Tenaga that have been charging EXORBITANT HIGH PRICE for their INFERIOR services will have no choice but to lower down their rates in order to remain competitive. This will definitely benefit the consumers at large.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, this would be a WAKE UP CALL for the ENTIRE RAKYAT (especially the Malay commoners) who have been voting for BN BLINDLY all the time TO REALIZE how corrupted our present government are in mismanagement of OUR funds and to make them think for themselves WHY such a natural resource rich country like Malaysia can go bankrupt and what have they got IN RETURN by voting for BN. And once the debt have been paid up, they will think twice about voting for BN ever again. This will definitely BURY BN 6 feet underground ONCE AND FOR ALL!

  13. Anonymous Said,

I m very happy if the BN govt. bankcrupt. It makes no difference as I am only a wage earner. But,don't frighten the Rakyat by saying so on the excuse of cutting all the subsidies.Corruptions and leakages from the govt.are more than subsidies.

  14. Anonymous Said,

what to expect when our country is ruled and controlled by dumb ass, morons, UMNO type leaders.
who are also arrogant and corrupted. So bankrupt bankrupt lah. if we are capable, life will still be good for us. I only pity the poor and not so educated. Let's all do something. Vote BN OUT.

  15. Hon Said,

Corruption in high places is so institutionalised that it has become a virtue.

If you can get away with murdering, it means you have the power and connection; if you can get away with cheating, it means you are smart; if you can get away with bullying, it means you are more equal than me; if you can get away for hijacking the established businesses of others, it is called the NEP.

  16. ruyom Said,

The truth is that Umno has ruled supreme for the last 50 years. It always got its way because the dominant ethnic majority of the country always supported its policies.

The state of the nation is corrupt, discriminatory, inefficient, racist, unjust, and backward. If Malaysia stinks then it is because Umno stinks.

If the “morals of the country” stinks, then it is because the morals of Umno politicians stinks.

I won’t even discuss the morality of explosives and murder of foreign nationals as most people seem to be able to tell the difference between right and wrong in this instance.

Instead, I shall talk about Umno corruption and Umno racism as the former will occasion the disastrous downfall of this nation, and the latter will be the downfall of the malays.

Umno teaches that it is just to discriminate against all non-malays and non-Muslims: business, college universities, education opportunities, government contracts, jobs, schools, taxes, and even finding a cemetery to bury the dead.

Umno teaches that it is right to discriminate on the basis of a person culture, language, race or religious belief.

In front of malays, it speaks of the race and religious, cultural and language supremacy, glorification of ethnic and power subjugation, and in front of non-malays, it speaks of the tolerance and unity in diversity.

To the vernacular schools it gives a pittance for support, and to malay language schools, there is no need to be diplomatic and call them “national language” schools, it gives 100% support.

As for English medium schools, the type that made Malaysia education the best in South East Asia, and our school leavers the most sought after anywhere in the civilised world, they were made extinct, courtesy of Umno cultural fantasies and language supremacist.

So we are left with unemployable graduates with deplorable job skills and prospects.

Umno language supremacist policies caused the extinction of the best high quality education that Malaysia and the malays would ever know.

Umno perversion of the very idea of meritocracy in favour of racist discrimination has ensured the lack of meritocractic competition for all Malaysians.

Later or sooner, the malays will realise that denying meritocracy to non-malays guarantees that there can be no meritocracy for malays even within their own community.

Umno policies caused a brain drain to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, and the US.

The fact that there is no entitlement complex nor inferiority complex or notable NEP dependence amongst the non-malays is no accident.

If the non-malays were the dominant ethnic majority, and they had an Umno-like racist party to lead them with promises of ethnic privileges, ethnic supremacy and racial discrimination, then I believe they would have lost their self-belief, self-confidence, and self-respect too.

Farish Noor once said “Umno ternak melayu untuk disembelih”.

I agree, and if the dominant ethnic majority fails to see past Umno false gods of ethnic aggrandizement and seductive promises of ethnic supremacy, then we are all finished.

  17. San Said,

The real extremists and terrorists in multiracial Malaysia are born, bred and indoctrinated by none other than Umno, especially under the reign of Mahathir.

  18. coolooc Said,

If you turn on BBC, there are fair and equal coverage on the UK opposition parties.

So is NHK (Japan), so is KBS (Korea), so is CNN (America), so is CBC (Canada), so is ABC (Australia).

Even in our neighboring Thailand, their TV coverage is fair for both ruling and opposition parties!

Only in this Umno hijacked country that you find most lop-sided idiotic coverage on Umno and its running dog partners!

  19. fargowin Said,

    The truth hurts.

The Chinese or the yellow race is what brings progress. Just look at Asia……….is enough.

Whether they do it internationally or locally they will survive.

We can distinctly see the lowering of Malaysia standards of living as the percentage of Chinese in this country goes down.

In the 70s we were tops with 40 over percent of Chinese and today with only 25 percent we are far behind Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea.

Main reason is the number of such Chinese migrating to these countries - the best ones and rich ones.

Next ten years as the percentage goes even lower, we would be nearing Indonesia or Philippines.

Meanwhile enjoy your stay and the good time.

On the whole as the Chinese spreads out throughout the world, the average standards of these will have much higher standards of living over others.

  20. yuking Said,

It is blatantly obvious to everybody except UMNO gangs. That is because they are corrupted, suffering from denial syndrome, regressive Muslims, low IQ and living in the past. They would rather see and prefer the nation going to the dogs than having meritocracy and doing away with NEP.

Otherwise, how does one explain the rot and malaise this country is suffering?

  21. Anonymous Said,

Stop the excesses, stop the bloats, stop the corruption and rent seekers if Govt is sincere to the rakyat and serious in tackling the deficits. If not,let the nation be bankrupt and everyone from the Ministers, the cronies, ordinary kampong folks who supported BN and to the tidak-apa man on the streets realize how a blessed country with rich resources come to her knees. Let a lesson be learnt.

  22. Anonymous Said,

    i am waiting for something...

i will take to the streets when i see the signal.

  23. Anonymous Said,

Yes, let the country go bankrupt for once. Let us start from scratch. But remember those rich guys they have already 'moved' their wealth out of the country and so does the UMNOputras. We will then know who are the traitors of the country and make sure they will never come back. And all those 'blind' supporters of ketuanan - we will see who then will 'tuan' over who when everybody have nothing. Only then they will regain their 'eyesight' or will they?

  24. Anonymous Said,

well said simon, i feel disgusted to pay my tax to the bastards....son of bitch.

  25. Anonymous Said,

Sebelum negara bankrap - 'kami nak 60% '

  26. Anonymous Said,

    BN cut your subsidy
    BN justify your suffering....
    BN continue tax you....
BN continue subsiding their cronies bank account!

  27. Anonymous Said,

Everyone is missing the point. This is a mere UMNO suggestion (stated by a non-UMNO person) to alert the MCA members and people of similar racial background to remember who controls their economic wallet.

  28. Anonymous Said,

cut down on the redundant civil service expenditures, write off all ketuanan splurges, and the problem, if there is any actual problem, will immediately evaporate into thin air

  31. Anonymous Said,

If Singapore can do it, doesn't necessary mean Malaysia can. Reminds me of a post-war Petaling Street where there were 2 textile shops. The name of the first " Wee Kean Fatt". The shop across the street " Soh Kean We"

  32. Anonymous Said,

no need to wait for the country to go bankrupt, just vote smartly the next GE

  33. Anonymous Said,

To Teh Tarik..don't speak through your ass and shit through your mouth if you do not comprehend what I commented. As shallow and brainless as your mind is (Let me guess, you must be a by-product of the NEP), you are really BODOH as to think it is better for the country to be plundered by the selected few for eternity rather than having forced economic reforms through external forces which is for the greater good of Malaysia as a whole.

As a matter of fact, yes, if given a chance to be Prime Minister, I would. The first thing I would do is to dismantle all NEP/NEM policies. It is as SIMPLE AS THAT and you'd see IMMEDIATE AND FAVORABLE ECONOMIC RESULTS in a short span of time. Just by opening up the economy to allow for EQUAL opportunity and competition among FELLOW MALAYSIANS without all those NEP/NEM preferential treatment BULLSHIT, it will boost our economy multiple folds instantly without risking the country from going bankrupt. I know it, you know it, and the PM knows it - but he has no balls to even do that! Why? It is to ensure that brainless nitwits like you will stay stagnated in your quality of life and forever be happy and thankful when the government throws bread crumbs at you while they plunder the country high and dry and the WHOLE RAKYAT suffers.

    Bodoh punya Teh Tarik.

  34. Anonymous Said,

u banyak sohai la...spoken like a dumbass..u want to bankrupt the country so that u can remove the government, you go bankrupt yourself first la, ask all the chinese tycoon to bankrupt themselves and stop bankrolling umno lah, but at the end of the day, chinese still support umno, when u get money you support UMNO, go fuck off lah, cakap tak serupa bikin..
    Tiu nia seng..

  35. Anonymous Said,

I do agree with the points made. Just look at South Korea, Indonesia and Thailand (if not for the recent protest) post-1997 Asian meltdown. They certainly have become more the ever competitive, and their economies are skyrocketing!
